Adding a Shipment to Track

How to add a new shipment for tracking in AskBiz — enter the tracking number, carrier, supplier, and shipment details.

How to add a shipment#

1. Go to Shipments in the sidebar

2. Click the + Add shipment button

3. Fill in the details:

  • Tracking number — from your carrier or supplier
  • Supplier name — who's sending the goods
  • SKU — the product or order reference
  • Quantity — number of units
  • Total value — the value of the goods (for financial impact calculations)
  • Expected arrival — when you expect delivery
  • Shipment type — inbound (from supplier) or outbound (to customer)

4. Click Add shipment to start tracking

After adding#

AskBiz immediately starts pulling tracking updates from the carrier. The shipment appears in your list with a 'Pending' status until the first tracking event is received. This usually takes a few minutes.
