Setting Up Competitor Price Monitoring
Track competitor prices on eBay, Amazon, and AliExpress to understand your market position.
What is Competitor Watch?#
Competitor Watch scans marketplaces for the same or similar products you sell and shows you how your prices compare. It pulls live pricing data from eBay, Amazon, and AliExpress. For each of your products, you see the market average price, the cheapest competitor, and your position โ whether you are the cheapest, competitive, premium, or overpriced. This helps you price with confidence.
Adding products to monitor#
Go to Intelligence > Competitor Watch. Click Add Product and enter the product name or search term. AskBiz searches across marketplaces and shows matching listings. Select the ones that are genuine competitors โ same or equivalent product. Save the match. AskBiz checks prices daily and updates your competitive position automatically.
Reading the results#
The Competitor Dashboard shows each monitored product with your price, the market average, the range (lowest to highest competitor), and your position score. Green means you are competitively priced. Amber means you are above average but within range. Red means you are significantly above market โ potential sales risk.
Acting on competitor data#
Ask AskBiz: Which of my products are overpriced compared to the market? If I reduce the price of product X to match the market average, what happens to my margin? The AI combines competitor pricing with your cost data to show the margin impact of any price change before you make it.
