Connect Stripe to AskBiz

Connect Stripe to track payment revenue, subscription MRR, failed payments, and refund rates in AskBiz.

What connecting Stripe unlocks

Connecting Stripe gives AskBiz access to your payment volume, subscription MRR and ARR, failed payment rate, refund rate, and net revenue after Stripe fees. If you use Stripe Billing for subscriptions, AskBiz can also surface churn rate and expansion revenue trends.

Step 1 — Connect via OAuth

Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe and click Connect Stripe. You will be redirected to Stripe to authorise the connection. Log in and click Connect. AskBiz uses Stripe's restricted key access — it requests read-only permissions only.

Step 2 — Choose your account mode

If your Stripe account has both Live and Test mode data, AskBiz will ask which to connect. Select Live for your real business data. Test mode data is not useful for business intelligence.

Step 3 — Initial import

AskBiz imports up to 2 years of Stripe payment history on first connection. Depending on your transaction volume, this takes 5 to 20 minutes. Stripe data is available in your Financial Intelligence dashboard once the import completes.

Ongoing sync

Stripe data syncs every 3 hours — more frequently than most integrations because payment data changes quickly. Failed payment retries, refund processing, and new subscription sign-ups are all reflected within 3 hours.
