Dashboard Loading Slowly
If your AskBiz dashboard is slow to load, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
Try a different browser or clear cache
Browser cache issues cause the majority of slow loading reports. Try:
1. Hard refresh: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
2. Open in a private/incognito window
3. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge are recommended)
If the dashboard loads faster in incognito or a different browser, clear your browser cache and cookies for askbiz.co.
Large date ranges slow down chart rendering
Selecting a date range larger than 12 months can significantly slow chart loading, especially if you have high transaction volumes. Try narrowing your date range to 3 or 6 months to confirm whether this is the cause.
For longer historical analysis, use the Export function to download the data and analyse it in Excel rather than loading it in the dashboard.
Too many widgets on one dashboard
Dashboards with more than 15 widgets load more slowly because each widget makes a separate data request. Remove widgets you rarely use by entering Edit Mode (top right) and clicking the X on each widget you want to remove.
Check AskBiz system status
If slow loading is widespread and not specific to your account, there may be a platform-wide performance issue. Check status.askbiz.co for real-time system status and any ongoing incidents.
You can subscribe to status page notifications to receive email or SMS alerts for future incidents.
Contact support if the issue persists
If the dashboard remains slow after trying the above steps, contact support via the chat icon. Include:
- Which dashboard or page is slow
- Your browser and version
- A screenshot of the loading state if possible
- Whether the issue is constant or intermittent
