Asking Questions About an Uploaded File

From the Files page, click the Ask about this → button next to any file. This opens the AI chat with that file pre-loaded as context.

You can then ask questions like:

• "What is my total revenue?"
• "Which product has the highest margin?"
• "Show me items with stock below 10 units"
• "What's the trend in my monthly sales?"

AskBiz uses the column names in your file to understand what each field represents. It automatically detects columns related to revenue, price, stock, margins, dates, and product names. The more descriptive your column names, the better the answers.

If you have both uploaded files and connected data sources (like Shopify), AskBiz can answer questions using both. For example, you could upload a cost spreadsheet and ask "Compare my Shopify revenue against my costs from the uploaded file."
