Why photograph parcels?#

Parcel photos create an evidence trail that protects your business in shipping disputes. If a customer claims an item was missing, damaged, or incorrect, you have timestamped photos showing the parcel contents and condition at the point of dispatch. This is especially important for high-value shipments and international orders where claims can be costly.

Taking and uploading photos#

From the Dispatch screen, tap the camera icon on any shipment. Take photos using your device camera — capture the shipping label, the sealed parcel, and contents if appropriate. Photos upload and link to the shipment record automatically. You can add multiple photos per shipment. Each photo is timestamped and stored with the shipment data.

Using photos in disputes#

When a customer raises a dispute, go to the shipment record and view the attached photos. Share them with the customer or the carrier as evidence. The timestamp proves when the photo was taken relative to the handover. This often resolves disputes quickly without needing to escalate to formal claims processes.
