Viewing Daily Sales and Revenue Stats
Check today's sales, revenue, average basket size, and top-selling products from the AskBiz POS dashboard. Understand your daily stats at a glance.
The POS dashboard#
Navigate to /pos/dashboard (or tap the chart icon in the POS sidebar) to see your daily stats. The dashboard updates in real time as sales are processed. At the top you will see four headline figures:
- Today's Revenue — total net sales after refunds
- Transactions — number of completed sales
- Average Basket — revenue divided by transactions
- Items Sold — total units across all transactions
Below the headlines, a live sales chart plots revenue by hour so you can see peak trading periods.
Top products and categories#
The Top Products panel shows your best sellers for the day, ranked by revenue or units sold (toggle between them). This is useful for spotting unexpected demand — if a product is selling faster than usual, you might need to restock sooner.
The Category Breakdown shows revenue split by product category as a simple bar chart. Over time, this helps you understand which parts of your range drive the most in-store revenue and whether that differs from your online mix.
Comparing with previous periods#
Tap the date selector at the top of the dashboard to view stats for any previous day, or compare today with the same day last week. AskBiz highlights the percentage change for each metric, coloured green (up) or red (down).
You can also ask the AI chat directly: *"How does today's in-store revenue compare to last Tuesday?"* or *"What was my best POS day this month?"* The AI has full access to your POS data and can answer trend questions instantly.
