AI Insights Across Multiple Branches
How AskBiz AI aggregates data from all your branches to give you cross-location insights, comparisons, and alerts.
How the AI sees your branches#
When you ask a question on the Ask page, the AI queries data from all branches simultaneously. It calculates consolidated metrics (total revenue, overall margin, combined inventory) and also breaks down results per branch when you have multiple locations.
You do not need to specify a branch โ the AI automatically includes per-branch breakdowns in its response when it is relevant to the question.
Questions you can ask#
The AI handles branch-aware questions naturally:
- Performance comparison: 'Which branch had the highest revenue this week?'
- Inventory intelligence: 'Which branch has the most low-stock products?'
- Staff insights: 'How many sales did each branch process yesterday?'
- Trend analysis: 'Is the Downtown branch growing faster than Main?'
- Consolidated view: 'What is my total profit across all locations this month?'
You can also ask general questions like 'how was yesterday?' and the AI will include a per-branch breakdown automatically.
Business Pulse and multi-branch alerts#
Business Pulse detects signals across all your branches independently. If your Downtown branch has a stockout risk but your Main branch is fine, the alert specifies which branch is affected.
Signals detected include:
- Stockout risk โ per branch, based on sales velocity vs current stock
- Out-of-stock items โ flagged per branch
- Low margin products โ identified per branch
- Sales anomalies โ unusual spikes or drops at specific branches
The health score combines data from all branches to give you a single business health rating.
Making decisions with cross-branch data#
Multi-branch AI is most powerful when you use it for decision-making:
- Stock allocation: Ask which products sell faster at which branch to optimise how you distribute new stock
- Staff scheduling: Compare revenue per staff member across branches to identify high performers
- Branch viability: Track whether a new branch is meeting its targets compared to established locations
- Transfer decisions: Ask the AI if it makes sense to transfer stock from a slow-selling branch to a fast-selling one
