Adding parts to a repair job#

While working on a job, tap 'Add Parts' to search your POS inventory. Select the part, specify the quantity, and it is linked to the job. If the part is not in your inventory, you can add a custom entry with a description and cost for one-off items.

Automatic stock deduction#

When a part is added to a repair job, AskBiz automatically deducts it from your inventory. This keeps stock levels accurate without manual adjustments. If a part is removed from the job before completion, the stock is restored automatically.

Part costs and line totals#

Each part carries its cost price and any markup you configure. The job's parts total updates in real time. This feeds directly into your repair margin reports, giving you clear visibility of material costs versus the amount charged to the customer.
